The Hatfield House Music Festival is a long weekend of concerts, curated by Artistic Director Guy Johnston, which takes place annually in September at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire. The setting, musicians and audiences make this a warm, friendly festival with exceptionally high artistic standards. The Festival has grown into a very successful and much-anticipated event, with the 8th series of concerts and education/outreach programme having just taken place. We have bold and exciting ambitions for our future, and we are looking for an exceptional Festival Manager to work with the Artistic Director, Education Manager and Board of Trustees to bring these to fruition.
Purpose of Role:
• Take leadership in all aspects of management and business planning
• Work with the Artistic Director to develop the artistic plans and strategic vision
• Practical planning and delivery of the programme
• Oversee the work of the Education Manager and education/outreach activities
Offered on a part time, highly flexible basis, this opportunity would suit a pro-active, highly organised and personable arts manager with experience across a variety of areas. The estimated commitment is 1-2 days per week.
